Just Because It Feels Dry Does Not Mean It Is

Having the proper equipment is a big part of fire and water mitigation. Our crews at SERVPRO of West Seneca/Lancaster utilize specialized equipment every day that help them see beyond damage visible to the naked eye.

As you can see from the photos above, a material (such as wood) may appear dry to the eye. But, after testing it with a moisture reader, it is in fact still considered wet. If left wet, it can cause further damage or mold.

Our technicians take moisture readings daily to determine what is truly dry, or is still considered to be wet.
