Hidden Water Damage Not Visible to The Human Eye

Water damage may not always be visible to the naked eye. In fact, sometimes something may feel "dry", when it is actually not.

The only way to tell if something is truly dry is to test it. If a structure or belonging is left wet, over time is may begin to develop mold or cause further damage.

SERVPRO of West Seneca/Lancaster has the proper tools and knowledge to test to see if something is truly "dry". Our crews utilize water meter devices (as shown above), infrared cameras and other tools to test if something is wet or dry.

Furthermore, some materials such as wood, will always contain some moisture in them. So, it is important to know the proper percentage of moisture in materials to determine if something is considered "dry" or not.
